About Us

Founded in 1997, All About Care is Alberta’s most established private home care provider. Family-owned and operated, we continue to uphold a standard of care built on trust, consistency, and discretion. We are not a franchise, and that’s by design. Remaining independent allows us to stay close to the work and the people we serve. The most beautiful thing in the world is a human connection. At All About Care, we help people find each other to meet the fundamental need for belonging.

Our approach is personal, beginning with a deep understanding of each individual’s needs and matched with caregivers selected for both their training and character. We’ve built our reputation on decades of quiet excellence in care, offered with respect and professionalism.

Executive Director

Julie has been part of All About Care since its early days, growing alongside it in a variety of roles that have deepened her commitment to the people we serve. Before this chapter, she spent 12 years working with the Cities of Calgary and Winnipeg, and also had the privilege of staying home to raise her two daughters—an experience that shaped her values in the most meaningful way. What she loves most about her work is finding the right companion for each client. There’s something incredibly special about seeing a genuine connection take root and grow into a relationship built on trust, care, and companionship. Those moments—when everything just clicks—are what brings her the most joy.  For Julie, this work is truly about people, and she feels grateful every day to be part of a community where care and connection matter so deeply.

Kona

Greeting Committee

To improve the lives of our clients, we believe authentic relationships between them and our caregivers needs to develop.

We want our caregivers to be friends with whom you look forward to chatting and having tea.

We want them to enrich your life with companionship.

That’s why our caregivers treat you as a person (and friend) first and a client second—this sets us apart.

To provide this wonderful companionship, we employ a unique process.

First, we’ll interview you and your loved ones to understand your likes, dislikes, and ongoing needs.

Then, we’ll match you with one of our exceptional caregivers to help you forge a mutually enriching friendship.

This gives you the support and camaraderie you deserve, providing you with that all-important continuity with your care.

Loved ones play an integral role in the happiness and health of our clients, which is why we want to ensure your involvement throughout the process.

You will be fully informed after every visit about what the visit entails and whether there are any health and safety changes you need to be aware of.

We’ll even send snippets of conversations and pictures when possible.

These reports reassure you that your family member is happy, healthy, and well-looked.
